Meet the founder

Jael Sunbird of Cleveland, Ohio, Founder and Owner of Sunbird Music Academy and Technology and Gauntlet Music Group (G.M.G.), noticed a need for change in the youth community, in the city of Cleveland. There was a lot of gang related violence and activity arising throughout communities and not enough education and leadership. 

Sunbird Music Academy and Technology, was founded to create a safe space and opportunity for children to not only learn, but to understand the art and culture of music. For students enrolled in the program, Jael's mission is for them to grow, prosper and dominate the music industry. He wants the Academy to be a stepping stone for the youth into a career in creating music, engineering and writing.
